Designed with Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Waves’ GTR (Guitar Tool Rack) system now supports Pro Tools 7 both Mac (GTR 1.1) and Windows (GTR 1) platforms. Pro Tools 7 users can download the new Mac installer by visiting download.waves.com. Users of other hosts supported in Version 1 should continue using 1.
Waves GTR is a high-quality virtual system that emulates popular guitar amplifiers and effects while allowing users to plug their guitar directly into a digital audio workstation. With seven virtual amps, 23 stomp effects and a hardware impedance and level-matching interface, the GTR system puts amplifiers, cabinets, microphones and effects at the user’s fingertips. Waves GTR is compatible with both Native and TDM systems, and includes the Waves/PRS hardware interface, Waves Amp software and Waves Stomp software all in one package.
